The Gospel According To Ike And Tina is one of Ike & Tina's most obscure albums and reflect one of the more unusual steps the couple took in their recording career. Musically, it features new arrangements of gospel standards with heavy use of Ike’s new synthesizers. The lead vocals are from both Ike Turner and Tina Turner. The album received a Grammy nomination in 1975.

Nutbush City Limits was recorded at Ike & Tina Turner's Bolic Sound studio between June and September 1973. Five of the ten tracks on the album were written by Tina Turner, including "Nutbush City Limits", which peaked at No. 11 on Billboard Hot Soul Singles, No. 22 on the Billboard Hot 100, and No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart. She wrote the song "Club Manhattan" as an ode to the Manhattan Club, the nightclub where she met Ike Turner in East St. Louis, Illinois.

Nuff Said was recorded in Ike’s Bolic Sound studio in 1971 and features a two-part instrumental track as the title song, with the beginning on the a-side and the sequel as the last track on the b-side. The front cover was photographed in a supermarket, while Tina bought some bread. It’s one of the rare pictures where she doesn't wear a wig. 

Unlike previous releases, their last name is not included on the album cover. No singles were released from the album.

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas is a Christmas album by American folk singer Burl Ives, first released by Decca Records in October 1965 (recorded in 1964). It peaked at #32 on Billboard's Best Bets For Christmas album chart on December 2, 1967.

Ives had recorded two of the songs on the album ("A Holly Jolly Christmas" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer") previously for the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer soundtrack, but he recorded new versions for Have a Holly Jolly Christmas. "A Holly Jolly Christmas" in particular had a significantly different and slower arrangement, which is more commonly heard today. This version had already been released as a single the previous year, with a B-side of "Snow for Johnny", which he also featured on the album.
